It is thin, with a fine transverse wrinkled texture, and does not form a hanging fold when the arm is extended. This is the scenario in which poly-L-lactic acid offers the greatest value.  <\/p><p>Redundant skin falls under gravity when the arm is held horizontally, creates a clear fold and often extends towards the axillary wall. In cases with significant excess skin, no biostimulator will contract that skin. <\/p><p>During the assessment, we perform a pinch test, observe the fold imprint with the arm extended and take photographs in standardised positions. Rushing it does not improve the outcome: it compromises it. <\/p><p><b>It is not the right option for you if:<\/b><\/p><p>The arm skin is already clearly redundant and hangs significantly when the arm is extended. If weight loss is still ongoing. If you have a personal history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
