One of Profhilo’s distinctive features is that it is an ultra-pure, high-concentration injectable hyaluronic acid gel, manufactured using an innovative thermal process without chemical cross-linking agents. Profhilo is a unique injectable gel composed of a combination of high molecular weight and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible substance that is fully reabsorbable by the body. It is a molecule that occurs naturally in the skin and other connective tissues.
The production process used to stabilise Profhilo relies on a thermal stabilisation technique, without the use of chemical cross-linking agents.
For this reason, Profhilo can be considered among the purest hyaluronic acid formulations available. In addition, it contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid, with 64 mg per dose.
Another key attribute of Profhilo is its high fluidity and excellent ability to integrate into the tissues. It spreads evenly across the superficial fat compartments, including more delicate areas of the face where even low-viscosity fillers may sometimes lead to irregularities.
Profhilo supports the remodelling of the extracellular matrix, helping to improve skin elasticity and structural support. It promotes and helps maintain the viability of fibroblasts, keratinocytes and adipocytes, while supporting the natural production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for firmer, healthier-looking and more luminous skin.
Unlike other hyaluronic acid treatments, Profhilo is not designed to add volume, but rather to deeply hydrate the skin and improve firmness.

The ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is injected with precision into the target areas. Unlike hyaluronic acid treatments designed to provide volume, Profhilo primarily supports collagen and elastin stimulation, helping attract water into the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, its activity on dermal cells is designed to last longer than that of non-stabilised gels. During this period, the gradual release of hyaluronic acid supports the stimulation of different types of collagen and elastin.
This stimulation is associated with a noticeable improvement in facial skin laxity and overall skin quality, contributing to enhanced firmness, hydration and radiance.
The five injection points used with Profhilo follow the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique, which is designed to ensure optimal product diffusion and minimal discomfort.

The number of sessions depends on the medical assessment and the patient’s individual goals. In general, visible results are typically achieved with two sessions spaced approximately one month apart.
Our Profhilo treatment is considered safe. Its biocompatible formulation minimises the risk of allergic reactions and the formation of small subcutaneous irregularities. The product is non-permanent, highly purified and based on a substance naturally present in the body.
The effects are rare and are commonly related to the injection which may produce redness, swelling and some temporary bruising in the area where it has been applied.
