A more defined lower facial contour and a cleaner transition between the face and neck. In practice, this is the kind of change others perceive simply as looking well rested and balanced, without being able to identify any treatment.
Timing depends on the technique used. With hyaluronic acid filler, an improvement is visible from the first day, while the final result is assessed after around two weeks, once the product has settled. With collagen stimulators, the result develops gradually over several weeks, in line with your skin’s natural production of new collagen.
In terms of longevity, hyaluronic acid fillers in this area typically last around 12 to 18 months. Collagen stimulators may last longer, depending on the product used and the individual response of your skin. At your follow-up, we will discuss whether maintenance would be appropriate and at what interval—without applying a standard schedule to every patient.

It depends on where and how the treatment is performed. An overfilled appearance occurs when volume is added where it is not needed—particularly in the lower face or in excessive amounts.
Our approach is the opposite: we restore support at carefully selected points, using only the minimum amount justified by your assessment and treating in stages when appropriate.
Any swelling during the first few days is usually mild and temporary. The true result is assessed once the product has settled.
When there is clear excess skin, no injectable treatment can compensate for it. Adding volume to tissues that no longer have adequate support may worsen the contour rather than improve it.
This is why the consultation begins by establishing whether your case falls within the range in which non-surgical treatment is likely to work well. If it does not, surgery is the correct indication and we will guide you towards it—an equally valid and honest recommendation.
It depends on the technique indicated. Hyaluronic acid filler provides a visible change from the treatment session, with the final result usually apparent after around two weeks. In this area, results typically last between 12 and 18 months.

Neither is inherently better; they address different concerns. Hyaluronic acid filler restores structural support and defines the contour immediately, making it suitable when the main issue is loss of support.
Collagen stimulators gradually improve skin firmness and density, making them appropriate when the tissue has lost quality.
Both factors commonly coexist in the lower face, which is why many treatment plans combine the two—each used at the appropriate stage and anatomical depth. Your diagnosis determines the choice.
This experience is more common than it may seem, and it rarely means that no treatment can work. More often, the technique did not address the underlying issue: energy-based devices when structural support was lacking, threads when tissue quality was unsuitable, or insufficient product for the intended correction.
Before recommending anything, we therefore want to understand what treatment you had, what you expected and what happened. That context leads to a more accurate indication—and, when a different approach is needed, the consultation is precisely there to identify it.
Yes, and this is often the most sensible approach, because the facial oval does not age in isolation. Depending on your case, treatment may be combined with other lower-face procedures—such as jawline, chin or marionette line treatment—or incorporated into a broader facial harmonisation plan.
What matters is the sequence and timing. Each procedure is planned according to its effect on the face as a whole, rather than as a simple sum of separate areas. This integrated approach is defined during your consultation.
