In some cases, mild and temporary side effects may occur, related to the injection itself, such as redness, slight swelling or small bruises in the treated area. These effects usually resolve within a few days.

Depending on each patient’s characteristics, facial masculinization may be combined with treatment for expression lines (such as the forehead, frown lines and/or crow’s feet) when muscle movement contributes to facial ageing, as well as with other facial treatments aimed at improving skin quality and structural support.
In selected cases, facial masculinization can also be integrated into a more comprehensive approach that includes hair treatments, such as dutasteride mesotherapy, when the goal is to jointly enhance the patient’s appearance and overall well-being.
