Skin can become tired too. Over time, it produces less collagen and retains fewer nutrients, and this becomes visible: less radiance, less freshness and a complexion that no longer looks as vibrant. The good news is that skin responds when it receives what it needs.
Facial vitamin injections are a medical treatment that nourishes the skin from within, where topical creams cannot reach. During your consultation, we assess the true condition of your skin and explain whether this treatment is right for you — or whether another option would suit your needs better.

It is a medical microinjection treatment that delivers a complex of 66 components — vitamins, minerals and amino acids — into the dermis, together with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which hydrates without adding volume.
This blend acts on fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin, and on keratinocytes, which support the skin’s protective barrier. Put simply, it does not merely cover the problem from the outside: it gives the skin the building blocks it needs to function better from within. The improvement can be seen in a brighter, more even complexion and felt in skin that is better hydrated and more elastic.
It is equally important to understand what this treatment does not do. It does not fill folds or restore volume — that is the role of cross-linked hyaluronic acid fillers. It does not treat expression lines — which respond to neuromodulators — and it does not correct established skin laxity, for which collagen stimulators may be more appropriate. Its purpose is to improve skin quality, and that is where it performs best.
A session takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The microinjections are performed with a very fine needle and are generally well tolerated; a topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand. You can return to your normal routine afterwards. Small injection marks or mild redness may remain for a few hours, and occasionally a minor bruise may occur, which can usually be concealed with make-up the following day.

There are also situations in which we will recommend a different treatment because vitamin injections would not address the main concern. If you are concerned about volume loss or a pronounced fold, hyaluronic acid fillers may be more appropriate.
For expression lines that appear with facial movement — on the forehead, between the eyebrows or around the eyes — an expression line treatment is usually indicated.
If there is a visible loss of firmness, we may consider collagen stimulators or other skin densification treatments. We assess this with you during your consultation: sometimes the best indication is a combination, and sometimes it is simply a different technique.

The first improvement patients often notice is radiance: the skin reflects light more evenly and the complexion appears more uniform. With each session, deep hydration, texture and elasticity may also improve. Fine lines caused by dehydration can soften, and the skin develops a more rested appearance that does not depend on make-up.
The changes are gradual and intentionally subtle. Improvement may begin to appear after the first sessions and continues to settle over the following weeks as the skin uses the nutrients and responds by producing its own collagen.
A typical initial protocol consists of three or four sessions, followed by more widely spaced maintenance treatments. The exact number is defined during your consultation, as it depends on your skin’s starting point and what you would like to achieve.
This treatment is particularly valuable as a preventive approach. Well-nourished, well-hydrated skin tends to age more gradually. For this reason, many patients incorporate it into their long-term skin care once or twice a year.
We begin by listening to you: what concerns you about your skin and what you would like to improve.
We then assess your skin: hydration, radiance, texture and density — what explains what you see in the mirror, what can realistically be improved and which treatment is most appropriate.
We then give you a medically reasoned recommendation: what is suitable for your case, what is not, and why. Sometimes the right answer is a different technique; sometimes, no treatment at all.

Yes, you can return to your normal routine, and the aim is for nobody to notice you have had a treatment — only that you look well. Immediately afterwards, small injection marks or mild redness may remain for a few hours. Occasionally, a minor bruise may occur and can usually be covered with make-up.
We use a careful injection technique specifically to make recovery as straightforward as possible. As a precaution, we recommend allowing a few days before an important event.
All three treatments improve skin quality, but they do so in different ways. Facial vitamin injections nourish the skin by supplying micronutrients that support its normal function, with a revitalising effect and greater radiance.
Skinboosters provide deep hydration with stabilised hyaluronic acid, which remains in the skin for longer.
Polynucleotides support regeneration by stimulating tissue repair, which can be especially useful for more compromised skin or delicate areas.
They are not competing treatments — in fact, they may sometimes be used in sequence. The most suitable option depends on the condition of your skin, which is precisely what we determine during your consultation.
It depends on the type of wrinkle, and this is one of the most common questions we hear in consultation. Fine, superficial lines — particularly those caused by dehydration — may improve with facial vitamin injections.
Expression lines — those that appear when you move your forehead, frown or smile around the eyes — respond to neuromodulators, not to skin nutrition.
Folds caused by volume loss, such as nasolabial folds, are treated with hyaluronic acid fillers. During your consultation, the doctor identifies the type of wrinkle you have and explains which treatment genuinely addresses it, so you do not invest in something that cannot deliver the result you are seeking.
A typical initial protocol consists of three or four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. The effect is cumulative, with each session building on the previous one.
Maintenance usually consists of one or two sessions per year. With this approach, the improvement in skin quality may last around 12 to 18 months, although this varies according to your skin type, its initial condition and your lifestyle — sun exposure and smoking, for example, can shorten the longevity of any result.
During your consultation, you will receive a specific treatment plan for your skin.
This treatment has a favourable safety profile when performed by an aesthetic doctor. Its components — vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid — are substances recognised by the skin, and only small amounts are used.
The most common side effects are mild and temporary: redness, small raised bumps at the injection points or an occasional bruise, which usually resolve within a few days.
During your consultation, we review your medical history and any possible contraindications — including pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergy to a component or an active infection in the treatment area — before confirming that the treatment is appropriate.
There is no single starting age; the indication depends on the condition of the skin. Some patients in their thirties have dehydrated or sun-damaged skin that can benefit clearly, while some patients in their fifties may need a different treatment before vitamin injections.
As a general guide, treatment in younger skin is usually preventive and follows a lighter protocol. In more mature skin, it may form part of a broader plan that includes other techniques. The consultation allows us to determine where your skin sits within that spectrum.
