Taking care of yourself makes a difference, but not every area responds in the same way. Some pockets of fat or dimpled skin remain despite a balanced diet and regular exercise. That is not a lack of consistency; it is simply that these tissues behave differently.
The good news is that the tissue itself can be treated medically, without surgery, when the indication is appropriate. Body mesotherapy is one of the options. During your consultation, we assess whether it is right for you.
We provide guidance based on medical expertise.
Body mesotherapy involves administering small amounts of active ingredients through very superficial microinjections, directly into the skin and the tissue immediately beneath it. By treating the area itself, the substances are delivered where topical creams cannot reach and where diet and exercise alone may not always be enough.
What is injected depends on what needs to be treated. For localized fat, substances may be selected to help target small deposits; for cellulite, active ingredients may be used to support circulation and drainage in the area; and for skin that has lost firmness or radiance, combinations can be chosen to improve skin quality. This is not a menu of products: it is a medical decision made by the doctor after examining your tissues, because appropriate product selection is essential to a well-indicated treatment.
It is also important to be clear about what mesotherapy is not. It is not a weight-loss method, nor is it an alternative to liposuction when a large volume needs to be reduced. It is best suited to specific areas and small localized deposits in people whose weight is stable.
A session takes around 20 to 30 minutes. Very fine needles are used, so you will feel small superficial pinpricks that can be uncomfortable but are generally manageable. Afterwards, you can continue with your day. Small bruises or mild redness may appear at the injection points for a few days and usually resolve on their own. Changes develop gradually from session to session.
Body mesotherapy is usually considered in three situations. First, your weight is stable but one area —such as the abdomen, flanks, outer thighs or inner thighs— does not respond like the rest of your body. Second, cellulite on the thighs or buttocks, which can also appear in slim, active people because it is related not only to body weight but also to circulation and tissue structure. Third, skin that has lost quality or firmness, often after weight changes or over time, and may benefit from being treated from within.
However, these three concerns can look very similar and are easily confused. Many patients arrive convinced they have cellulite when the main issue is skin laxity, or vice versa, and each requires a different approach. That is why the starting point is never the treatment itself: it is identifying exactly what is happening in the area that concerns you.
There are also cases in which mesotherapy is not the right answer. If your goal is weight loss, a different type of medical support should come first. If there is a significant volume to reduce, other techniques may be more appropriate. And if skin laxity is the main concern, our body skin tightening treatment may be a better option.

The aim is for the treated area to look more in balance with the rest of your body: less volume where there was a small excess, smoother-looking skin where cellulite was visible, and improved firmness where it had been lost. Changes that you notice when you look at and touch the area, while remaining natural to others.
Results develop throughout the course of sessions and become more established once the plan is completed. How long they last depends partly on you —your habits still matter— and, when appropriate, partly on maintenance sessions scheduled at wider intervals according to how your tissues evolve. We explain this from the outset so you know what to expect before starting.
We begin by listening: what concerns you, how long it has been present and what you hope to achieve.
We then assess what is actually present in the area —localized fat, cellulite, fluid retention, loss of firmness or a combination of these— because each responds differently, and confusing them is one of the most common reasons for choosing the wrong treatment.
Based on this assessment, we give you a considered clinical recommendation: what is appropriate for your case, what we would not recommend, and why. Sometimes the answer is a different technique; sometimes, no treatment at all.

It can be effective when two conditions are met: your case is suitable and the substances are appropriately selected. At our clinic, treatment never comes before assessment. We first confirm what is happening in the tissue and whether mesotherapy is likely to improve it. If it is not the right option, we will tell you and recommend a more appropriate alternative.
Most treatment plans involve between five and ten sessions, depending on the area, the objective and how your tissues respond. Initial changes may become noticeable after the first few sessions, with the result developing progressively. During your consultation, we will give you an estimate tailored to your case and adjust it according to your response.
Very fine needles are used at a shallow depth, so you will feel small superficial pinpricks: they can be uncomfortable, but they are brief and generally well tolerated. You can return to your usual routine, including work, after the session. We will simply ask you to follow a few straightforward precautions during the first hours, which we will explain during your appointment.
When performed by a medical professional using appropriate products, body mesotherapy generally has a favourable safety profile. The most common effects after treatment are mild: redness, slight swelling or small bruises at the injection points, which usually resolve within a few days.
Results are more likely to be maintained while the tissue remains under similar conditions: a stable weight and healthy habits can help. Even so, skin and fat are living tissues, and in many cases occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended. We will advise you on what is appropriate for your case.
They address different problems. Liposuction is a surgical procedure and may be appropriate when a larger volume needs to be removed in a single intervention. Mesotherapy is a non-surgical option for small localized deposits, cellulite and skin quality, with gradual results. If your case would be better managed surgically, we will explain this during your consultation.
