Understanding what is causing your hair loss is the first step towards slowing it down and restoring density.
You may be noticing more hair shedding than usual. Your parting may look wider, certain areas may provide less coverage, or your hair may no longer have the body it once did. These changes often develop gradually — and once they become visible, it is natural to want to take action.
There is often scope to act. Hair loss has identifiable causes and, while the follicle remains active, non-surgical medical treatments can help slow hair loss and improve density. What we do not do is recommend a treatment before establishing which one you need: that is determined during your medical assessment.

Hair loss is a symptom. Like any symptom, it has an underlying cause that can often be identified. The treatment most likely to work is the one directed at that cause — not a standard protocol applied in the same way to everyone.
The most common cause is androgenetic alopecia: a hormone — DHT — progressively weakens the follicle, causing each new hair to grow finer until it eventually stops growing. It is genetic, affects both men and women, and tends to respond better when treated early.
However, this is not the only cause. Reactive hair shedding — known as telogen effluvium — occurs when a specific trigger, such as intense stress, the postpartum period or a recent illness, pushes follicles into the resting phase too early. In other cases, the underlying issue may be a nutritional deficiency or thyroid disorder that needs to be addressed first.
The decision is guided not by the techniques we have available, but by the condition of the follicle. If it is still present — even if it produces hair so fine that it is barely visible — it may respond to medical stimulation. If the follicle has been completely lost and the area has been without hair for years, a hair transplant is the appropriate option, and we will explain this just as clearly.
Our approach works with follicles that are still viable. Through microinjections into the scalp, we deliver the active ingredients, nutrients or biological signals the follicle needs according to its condition. The specific technique and formulation depend on the diagnosis: there is no single treatment suitable for every type of hair loss.
What this approach is not. It is not hair transplant surgery: we do not relocate or transplant follicles. It cannot create new hair in areas where the follicle no longer exists. Nor does it replace treatment for an underlying medical cause — if your hair loss is related to a thyroid disorder or a deficiency, that must be addressed first.
If you are noticing a gradual loss of density — a receding hairline, thinning at the crown or a widening parting — androgenetic alopecia is the most likely cause. It is the most common type of hair loss, and several treatment options may be considered: hair mesotherapy, particularly with dutasteride to target the hormonal cause, PRP, polynucleotides or exosomes, depending on the stage and follicular response.
If the shedding began more suddenly — after a period of intense stress, childbirth, illness or hormonal change — your follicles may have entered the resting phase prematurely. This is known as telogen effluvium and is often reversible. Hair PRP can be particularly suitable in these cases because the regenerative factors from your own blood help reactivate the growth cycle.
If your main concern is an overall decline in hair quality — finer, drier hair with less body, without dramatic shedding — hair polynucleotides may help improve the follicular environment so that the hair it produces can become thicker and more resilient.
If a specific area has been without hair for years — the scalp is smooth and there is no follicle left to stimulate — the answer is not one of the treatments offered here, but a hair transplant. We will explain this during your assessment and guide you if this is what you need.
In every case, the diagnosis determines the treatment pathway. Your plan may combine more than one treatment, or the best approach may be one well-indicated technique.

The first objective is always to slow the hair loss so that you are no longer losing more hair than your body replaces. From there, treatment aims to help existing hair become thicker and stronger and to support a more active follicular growth cycle.
Results are progressive. Hair shedding often begins to stabilise within the first few weeks, while improvements in density and thickness become visible over the following months as new growth cycles are completed. The specific timeframe depends on the treatment and your starting point, and we will discuss it during your assessment.
It is important to understand from the outset that none of these treatments changes an underlying genetic predisposition. Their role is to improve the conditions around the follicle so that it can function more effectively for a period that varies from person to person. For this reason, a maintenance protocol is often recommended to help preserve the results achieved.
We listen to what concerns you and what you expect from treatment: when you first noticed the hair loss, how it has progressed, whether there was a specific trigger, what you have previously tried and the result you hope to achieve.
We assess the condition of your scalp and follicles: the pattern of hair loss, hair quality in each area, whether the thinning is diffuse or localised, and what may explain what you are seeing — a hormonal cause, a deficiency, a reactive process or a combination of factors. When necessary, we request blood tests.
We give you a reasoned medical recommendation: which treatment is appropriate for your case, which is not, and why. Sometimes the answer is one specific technique; sometimes a combination; and sometimes another route altogether — including a hair transplant when that is what your situation requires.
You leave with a plan and a quote, and you decide afterwards, calmly.

These are medical treatments delivered to the scalp, but each works differently and is better suited to specific situations.
Hair mesotherapy delivers medication and nutrients directly to the follicle. When the cause is hormonal — the most common situation — the formulation may include dutasteride, which helps reduce the action of the hormone responsible for follicular weakening. It has the longest clinical track record for this indication.
PRP uses growth factors from your own blood. It acts as a biostimulatory treatment, helping reactivate follicles in the resting phase and improve the condition of the scalp. It is particularly suitable for reactive hair loss and as a complement to other treatments.
Polynucleotides and exosomes provide regenerative signals that do not depend on your biological status. Unlike PRP, the concentration of signalling factors is consistent regardless of your age or health condition.
Which is best? It depends on your diagnosis. There is no universally superior treatment: there is a treatment that is more appropriate for your case. This is established during the assessment.
Hair stimulation treatments can be effective when they are correctly indicated — for the right patient, with the right protocol and for the right cause.
What does not work is applying a treatment without a prior diagnosis: if the cause of the hair loss is unclear, the outcome will be equally uncertain. This is why the indication matters more than the technique itself.
During the assessment, before recommending anything, we determine whether your case meets the conditions for treatment to provide a meaningful improvement. If it does not, we will tell you.
The diagnosis determines the indication, and the indication determines the treatment — not the other way around.
If your case requires a specific technique, that is what we recommend, regardless of its cost. If it requires a combination, we explain the clinical reasoning behind it. And if what you need is not one of the treatments we provide, we will tell you that too: sometimes the answer is a transplant, sometimes it is treating an underlying medical cause, and sometimes it is waiting.
You leave the assessment with a reasoned recommendation, a treatment plan and a quotation. You can then decide in your own time.
Hair treatments follow biological timelines that cannot be accelerated. As a general guide, a reduction in shedding may be noticed within the first few weeks — less hair on the pillow, in the shower or on the brush. Visible improvements in density and thickness usually begin between the third and sixth month, depending on the treatment and starting point. The fullest results generally consolidate around one year.
Each technique has its own schedule. During your assessment, we provide a realistic timeframe for your individual case.
The treatments we use are performed in a medical setting and supported by clinical evidence. They have a favourable safety profile.
There are situations in which they are not the first option. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, coagulation disorders, active autoimmune disease and ongoing cancer treatment are general contraindications. When hair loss is caused by an untreated medical condition — such as thyroid dysfunction, anaemia or a dermatological scalp disorder — this must be addressed first; hair treatment may be considered later as additional support.
During your assessment, we review your medical history before recommending anything.
If an area has been without hair for years and the scalp is smooth, stimulation treatments will not generate new hair there. The appropriate indication is a hair transplant.
There are also intermediate situations. If your case combines areas with viable follicles and areas where follicles have already been lost, medical treatment may support the first areas while a transplant addresses the second. This is also assessed individually.
What we do not do is recommend a treatment that is unlikely to work for you.
