PRP Facial Treatment

Improve your skin quality using your own biology, without fillers or added volume.

Some skin can look tired even when you are well rested. Less radiance, a duller tone, a texture that no longer reflects light as it once did — and the feeling that another cream will not be enough.

PRP starts with something already within you: growth factors from your own blood are concentrated and reintroduced into the skin to stimulate regeneration. It does not add volume or alter your features; it works on tissue quality from within.

During your consultation, we assess whether this is what your skin needs or whether another technique is more likely to deliver a better result.

We provide guidance based on medical expertise.

PRP facial treatment.

What does PRP facial treatment involve?

PRP — platelet-rich plasma — is a biostimulation treatment that uses your own blood. A small sample is taken, the platelet-rich fraction is separated and then reintroduced into the skin, where its growth factors activate the cells responsible for collagen production.

What improves is the quality of the skin: radiance, fine texture, a more even tone and superficial firmness. It is useful when the skin looks dull or somewhat depleted and you want to restore a healthier appearance without altering your facial features.

It is important to explain clearly what PRP does not do, as this is where most misunderstandings arise. PRP does not fill folds or add volume — that is the role of hyaluronic acid fillers — nor does it provide the structural support of a powerful collagen stimulator. It works on the skin, not on volume. Understanding this from the outset helps avoid expecting a change that this treatment is not designed to produce.

The session is brief: blood collection, plasma preparation and application. You can then return to your usual routine, with a few simple recommendations for the first hours.

Is it right for you?

PRP can be a good option when your concern is how your skin looks rather than its shape: lack of radiance, uneven texture, fine dehydration lines or a tired appearance that does not reflect how you feel. It can also complement other treatments when the aim is to improve tissue quality before or after another procedure.

It is not the best option if you want to add volume to the cheeks or lips, correct a pronounced fold or lift a facial contour that has lost support. Other techniques are more appropriate for these concerns, and we will explain them clearly. PRP is also neither an immediate-result treatment nor a one-session procedure; if you need a visible change for an upcoming date, it is important to be honest that this is not the right approach.

Response to PRP also varies from one person to another. This is why, before recommending it, we prefer to assess your skin and tell you honestly whether it is likely to provide a worthwhile benefit.

Treatments guided by medical judgment, with personalised planning and a conservative approach.

What can this treatment achieve?

Changes are gradual and become more established over time. This is not an overnight transformation, and that is precisely the logic of the treatment: stimulating your skin to work rather than imposing a result from the outside.

What is the assessment like?

We listen to what concerns you and what you hope to achieve.

We then assess your skin quality — radiance, texture and superficial firmness — and distinguish which aspects are related to the skin itself and which depend on volume or structural support, as they are not treated in the same way.

This allows us to give you a reasoned recommendation: what is appropriate for your case, what is not, and why. Sometimes the answer is another technique; sometimes, no treatment at all.

You leave with a plan and a quote, and you decide afterwards, calmly.

Would you like a personalised assessment?

We guide you with medical judgment and an individualized assessment.

Frequently asked questions about PRP facial treatment

PRP improves skin quality progressively, and most people notice greater radiance, smoother texture and a more even tone after a few weeks.

That said, the response is not identical for everyone: it depends on your skin’s starting condition, your age and how consistently you follow the treatment plan. This is why, during the consultation, we prefer to tell you in advance whether it is likely to be worthwhile. If we believe the benefit would be too limited, we will tell you.

No, and it is important to understand this before starting. PRP improves skin quality, but it does not fill folds or add volume: depending on the case, that is the role of hyaluronic acid fillers or collagen biostimulators.

If your aim is to add volume or correct a pronounced fold, we will guide you towards the appropriate technique during your consultation. PRP is at its best when the goal is better-quality skin, not a change in facial shape.

They all aim to improve the skin, but they work in different ways. PRP uses your own blood and its growth factors.

Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments that provide deep hydration and are particularly well suited to delicate areas such as the eye contour.

Exosomes act as cellular messengers that support regeneration and are often used alongside other procedures.

So-called ‘facial vitamins’ provide hydration and nutrients.

There is no single option that is universally better: there is one that is more appropriate for your skin and your objective, and that is precisely what we determine during the consultation.

They work at different depths and address different objectives. Hyaluronic acid fillers provide immediate filling, volume or projection.

Collagen stimulators — such as those based on poly-L-lactic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite — provide stronger structural support than PRP.

PRP focuses on skin quality: radiance and texture. In many cases, the most effective plan combines more than one technique, with each one serving a distinct purpose.

PRP works cumulatively rather than all at once. A typical protocol involves several sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by more widely spaced maintenance sessions to help preserve the improvement achieved.

The first improvements in radiance and texture are usually noticeable from around three weeks, and the results continue to develop over the following months.

Results typically last between 6 and 12 months, although this varies according to your initial skin quality, age and lifestyle. After completing the recommended protocol, improvements in radiance, texture and overall skin quality are maintained progressively, but the natural ageing process continues.

For this reason, to help maintain the results, we usually recommend one maintenance session every 6–12 months, adapted to each patient.

Because PRP uses your own blood, the risk of allergy or rejection is very low. The most common effects are mild redness or small bruises at the application points, which usually resolve within a few days; they may be more visible in sensitive skin or around the eyes.

During your consultation, we review your medical history, as there are certain situations — including some clotting disorders, specific treatments or particular circumstances — in which it may be advisable to postpone or avoid the procedure.
