In many cases, yes. But not with a single treatment. A non-surgical facelift is a plan that combines hyaluronic acid fillers, collagen-stimulating treatments and neuromodulators, in the order and doses your face actually needs.
Dr Manuela Gheorghiu plans each case through a complete facial assessment: what has changed, what should be treated first and what is better left untouched. That prior decision is what separates a natural result from one that looks obvious.

Most patients arrive with a clear feeling —something has changed in my face— but without knowing exactly what has happened or what can be done.
What we perceive as sagging often starts beneath the skin: bone gradually loses volume, deep fat compartments descend and the ligaments that supported the tissue shift. The skin has not fallen on its own; it has lost the structure that held it in place.
Understanding this changes the approach. It is not about filling or pulling: it is about rebuilding the support that is missing. That is what creates the lifting effect. It is also what distinguishes a non-surgical facial rejuvenation plan from a mere combination of standalone treatments.
To achieve this, we mainly combine three different tools, each designed for a specific concern:
When the issue is loss of support. The cheekbone has lost projection, the jawline has become less defined, the midface has descended. The product is placed in a deep plane to rebuild the foundation the tissue no longer has.
When the issue is skin quality. Thin skin, laxity, reduced density. It stimulates new collagen production progressively.
When the issue is not volume, but how the muscles are working. Expression lines, asymmetries or descent caused by muscular traction in the upper third of the face.
Choosing between them, combining them in the right order and adjusting the doses to each case is what makes the difference between a coherent result and one that looks noticeable.
The question almost everyone brings to consultation is direct: will this work in my case, or do I need surgery?
It depends. There are profiles where a non-surgical treatment can offer a clear improvement, and others where the indication is different. These are the most common scenarios:
A non-surgical facelift has limits, and it is important to understand them before starting.
This approach does not remove excess skin and does not replace surgery when laxity is very advanced or when an immediate change is desired.
Surgery, however, does not work on tissue quality itself: skin density, texture or regenerative capacity. That follows its own process.
That is why, in many cases, a non-surgical facelift is used to improve skin quality and help maintain the result over time.
They are not opposing approaches: they work on different planes and can complement each other.

Natural-looking results are achieved through careful planning before any treatment begins. Every plan is based on your facial anatomy—your proportions, bone structure and tissue quality—and is designed to reinforce your natural features rather than create a different look.
Doses are adjusted to the minimum effective amount in each area. The phases are spaced so the change is gradual and perceived as a rested, improved appearance, not as an intervention. The result we aim for is the one people close to you notice without knowing exactly what has changed.
Over-treatment happens when several interventions are compressed into one session or repeated before the tissue has integrated the previous one. A phased plan exists to avoid this: each phase has a defined objective, one main tool and an adjusted dose. Between phases, we allow the tissue the time it needs to settle. If a phase is no longer necessary, it is removed from the plan.
It depends on the initial degree of laxity, tissue quality, previous treatments and the objective agreed during the assessment. The timeline is provided in writing after the consultation, with indicative dates for each phase and the first maintenance session.
Changes appear in stages: hyaluronic acid support can be seen from the same day and settles within 2–4 weeks; neuromodulators reach their full effect after 10–14 days; biostimulators work progressively between 30 days and 4 months. The consolidated result usually lasts 12–24 months with annual maintenance. Actual duration varies depending on tissue quality, lifestyle, hormonal status and adherence to the plan.
Yes, when the combination is planned in phases and respects the integration intervals. The three tools act on different planes and through different mechanisms, without pharmacological interaction between them. Relevant contraindications are assessed in consultation: pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection in the area, coagulation disorders or non-adjustable anticoagulation, active autoimmune disease, history of granulomas from filler material, myasthenia gravis or myasthenic syndromes. A complete medical history is reviewed before any indication is made.
There are specific clinical signs that mark the threshold: significant excess skin with reduced skin elasticity, prominent platysmal bands, marked tissue sagging, or advanced fat accumulation beneath the chin.
When these clinical signs are present, aesthetic medicine may still provide some improvement, but probably not the result you’re hoping for. In those cases, the consultation gives you a clear picture of your situation, so you can make an informed decision based on the reality of your case.
The first step is to map any residual product: where it is, how much remains, and how it is redistributing with movement and tissue ageing. Without that map, it is not possible to plan properly, because there are areas where adding more product creates visible accumulation and others where the issue is that previous product was poorly distributed.
In these cases, the assessment is longer and, often, the first recommendation is to wait, adjust with enzyme if appropriate, or reorganise the plan before injecting again. The goal is never to cover a previous result with more product.
They are different tools: they work through dermal energy, not injectables. In some cases, they can complement our approach; in others, they cannot.
The important question, before choosing a treatment, is what your face needs and to what extent: structural support, improved skin quality, muscle modulation, or energy-based treatment. That decision is made during your consultation, based on your individual anatomy.
